Record Boards

Record boards can be used as motivation as well as inspiration in team sports. Motivated swimmers will want to replace the current name on the board or beat a personal record. When picking out record boards for a swim team, there are a few factors to consider in finding one that is right for the school and the team.
There are a multitude of responsibilities that come with being a coach. Coaches are expected to get their players in shape, teach them how to play the game, make decisions on how plays should be run, and ultimately win games. But the most important, as well as most difficult, responsibility for any coach is to keep his or her players motivated throughout the season. As simple as this may sound, it can sometimes be a daunting task especially when the team may be having a rough season and are ready to give up.
One of the toughest challenges any coach faces is motivating his or her players. There are many tools that a coach can utilize in practice sessions to improve overall motivation and performance in both practice and games. One such tool is a strength record board.
When you talk about the all-time great performances in track and field, there are a few standards that jump out at us from the track and field record boards. There is Bob Beamon and his record long jump in the altitude in Mexico City in 1968. Usain Bolt has been electrifying stadium crowds with his blazing speed, which delivered him the world record in the 100-meter dash of 9.58 seconds.
When looking at a Track Record Board for your program, one of the most overlooked features is how easy it is to update at the end of a season.
