With the conclusion of the 50th National Athletic Directors Conference, we wanted to thank everyone who came to see us this year in National Harbor, Maryland. It’s great to get together with customers, put faces to names, meet new people, and talk about the latest in high school sports.
Hosted by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association and the National Federation of State High School Associations, this show is one of the best places to meet with high school athletic directors, speak with industry leaders, and learn about the latest and greatest products in athletics.
This year, we showcased a number of product examples. For those of you who were not able to make it to the convention, here are a few of the projects that generated the most interest from our customers.
Multisport Dry Erase Board
One of the products that made the biggest splash at the convention was our new Multisport Dry Erase Board. This first-in-the-industry product features custom field & court magnetic overlays that can be easily changed depending on who is using the locker room. If the basketball team is using the locker room, the coach can unroll the basketball court, attach it to the board, and start drawing up plays. After basketball practice, the volleyball coach can quickly switch court magnets and is ready to go. This easily changeable field & court dry erase board is the perfect product for coaches who share locker room space. Available in the traditional wall-mounted format as well as a mobile dry erase board option.
Slide-In Record Board
The Slide-In Record Board is our best-selling record board style and consistently one of the most asked about products at the NIAAA convention. In addition to offering a sophisticated and elevated look, they’re incredibly easy to update. Records simply slide in and out for replacement.
We had examples for track, basketball, and baseball on display at the show, but that is not all we offer. Keep in mind that we can design a record board for any sport and often work with schools on full projects that include one record board for each sport.
Hall of Fame Plaque Board
Most schools have an established hall of fame, but many of these schools do not have physical signage to show it off. Those that do, are often in need of a refresh to replace a dated and worn out display. Because the hall of fame plays such a big role in highlighting the history of a program, we typically get a lot of interest when we show examples of a hall-of-fame plaque board at a convention.
Breaking out of the traditional rectangle, this example features a custom-shaped background helping it to stand out. Each class of inductees is included on laser-cut plaques that have been attached with StandOff hardware. These boards can be built to any size and are sometimes designed as multiple pieces with a header that can be added to as needed.
Add-A-Year Banners
A typical sight in a school gym, it’s no surprise banners are a popular product for Athletic Directors. While most championship banners honor a single win such as a state title, Add-A-Year Banners can be an excellent way to recognize multiple victories in a way that doesn’t take up as much wall space in the gym. They are typically divided by sport and include one or more categories such as conference, district, or state appearance wins.
While we do offer standard vinyl banners, we are known for our Poly Fabric Banners. This premium banner fabric is our most popular option because it offers an upscale look and can be updated easily. So easily in fact, that you usually don’t even have to take them off the wall to update.
Next-Level Board
Year after year, our Next-Level Board is one of the most popular products at the National Athletic Directors Conference. These custom-designed boards feature athletes that have gone on to play at the next level. There are a few different signage options available to honor these athletes, but the most popular is our Slide-In Next-Level Board. The board construction allows for easy updates and additions as future athletes move to a higher level of play.
