Widely used across university campuses, boulevard banners are quickly becoming popular banner option on high school campuses. Greet visitors and fans with rows of banners along your main drive, parking lots, stadium and even indoor hallways.
WHAT ARE THE MOST COMMON USES FOR THESE BANNERS?
Our customers generally use these banners to display an oversized mascot, school name or slogan. You’ll often find rows of alternating colored banners placed down campus boulevards or hallways expressing school spirit.
Schools can also utilize these banners for general wayfinding; helping visitors get to where they need to be. They are an effective way to highlight locations such as faculty, student and visitor parking, gym entrances or directions to the ball fields.
Another popular choice is to draw attention to recent and historical wins such as league and state championships. While this can be a great way to showcase a specific team, they are updated more often to share recent successes.
WHAT SIZES ARE AVAILABLE?
Like most Team Fitz products, our Boulevard Banners are custom made and can be produced at any size. The most popular sizes are:
- 18″ x 36″
- 18″ x 45″
- 24″ x 48″
- 30″ x 60″
- 30″ x 80″
ARE THESE BOULEVARD BANNERS SINGLE OR DOUBLE SIDED?
Boulevard banners are printed on both sides. Usually the design is the same on both sides, but it does not have to be. Our flexible design team works closely with athletic directors to find the best possible solution for their school.
WHAT KIND OF HARDWARE DO I NEED TO MOUNT THESE BANNERS?
Team Fitz offers two different styles of bracket hardware. The PremiumFlex Bracket System is our recommended hardware because it offers the best protection against wind and weather. From a 25 mph to 70 mph storm, these kits easily shrug off the wind, helping to ensure your banners are subjected to the least amount of stress possible. Using a spring-loaded tension system, PremiumFlex’s angle change spills 87% of the wind compared to less than 25% for standard bracket systems.
The second option is our StandardFlex Bracket system. These banner brackets are designed for short-term or budget-conscious installations. They are able to withstand moderate breezes for banners up to 12 square foot. This system works great for indoor applications as well.
In most cases, we can build banners that fit existing hardware if you already have it installed at your location.
DO I NEED TO BUY NEW HARDWARE EVERY TIME WE REPLACE OUR BANNERS?
No. With regular maintenance, your hardware should last a long time. If you decide to replace the banners down the road, you can use the same hardware.
DO THESE BANNERS ONLY ATTACH TO POLES OR CAN YOU ATTACH THEM TO A WALL?
The most common installation involves attachment to a light pole, but our bracket systems can also be attached to a flat surface such as a wall. This is true for outdoor applications, but is also great for indoor display. The most common indoor displays are along hallways, inside main entrances or in larger spaces such as the gym or auditorium.
HOW LONG TO THESE BANNERS LAST?
Outdoor longevity for non-permanent signage like this is does not have a specific time frame guarantee. We have produced thousands of boulevard banners that have hung outside for multiple years and still look great. We have also had some that have been torn down by storms after just a few days. There are many variables that critically affect the lifespan of an outdoor banner beyond the print and fabrication such as the installation, weather and hardware.
We do warranty that our products will be delivered free from any manufacturing defects and assure a fantastic print quality. Once they are installed outside, longevity is largely dependent on factors outside of our control.
HOW MUCH DO THESE BANNERS COST?
Pricing depends on several factors including banner size, quantity and whether or not hardware is purchased with the order. Reach out to speak with one of our customer service reps. We would be happy to provide a custom quote.
If you have any additional questions, one of our sales representatives would be happy to go over options and answer any inquires. When you are ready, we will have our in-house graphic design staff get started on a custom design proposal for the project.
