When Carroll University reached out to us to design decals for their helmets, we were pumped. Known as Wisconsin’s pioneer college, Carroll University was the first four-year college in the state. Founded in 1846, with only five students and two faculty members, Carroll is a school rich with history.
Rather than a full wrap, the Pioneers were looking for a custom decal package for their lineup of navy and orange Cascade R’s. While we’re known for full helmet wraps, we are happy to design custom lax decal kits for our customers.
This package starts with the Carroll University Pioneer logo on one side. The other side features large two-inch-tall player numbers—a popular asymmetrical look. Progressively larger angled stripes run from front to back on top and back decals. This design creates an orange to navy fade going from the front to the back of the helmet.
The design is then finished off with a few embellishments to personalize the kit for the Pioneers. “1846” is displayed on the back-panel decal, paying homage to the year Carroll was founded. An American flag and College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin decals are included to finish the look.
