It is said that 'History is Revisionist" and this adage holds true in the sporting world, however, in the area of track and field there are several moments that are etched into the history books of the sport. Here are five of the most famous track and field moments.
Track and field athletes participate in intense competitions that are incredibly physically demanding. It is imperative that they prepare accordingly for the demands that these activities place on their bodies. Athletes should begin their warm up 45 minutes before their track and field meet with a 10 minute jog and some light stretches.
