The Team Fitz Laid-vinyl Record Board is a premium and fully custom product that can be tailored to each sport and athletic program. One of the most advantageous features of this type of record board is how easy it is to update when a record is broken. Laid Vinyl Record Board Update Video Transcript
We’re Team Fitz Graphics. Today we’re going to be showing you how to update your laid vinyl record boards. Basically what you’re going to do is, you’ll get a strip from us, the update strip. What you want to do is cut the corners so you can just barely see the edges of your update. What this is going to do is help with alignment.

Then you get them up to your board, and you want to find the correct record, and just line up the corners so it’s going to line up exactly over top of the previous record. All you have to do is take your time, take a piece of masking tape and lay it right down the middle. And you don’t necessarily have to, but I always like to use a second piece of masking tape just to make sure that this side stays straight. What you’re going to do is peel this record back, just take a pair of scissors, cut away the backing. You want to take something with a straight edge, really anything will work, a credit card, drivers license. I’m going to use a Subway gift card. Just go along, and as you’re doing it make sure that it stays aligned and right over top of your previous record.

Now I will say, before this, you want to prep your board by just using a soft cloth and some cleaning solution, Windex, something like that. Just to make sure you get rid of all the debris on the board. Then, just peel away the second half, again, just continue following, and take your time until the record lies right over top. And then finally the transfer tape over top. We peel that away and you step back and you have your record board up there.
