When putting together a custom layout, Team Fitz designers try to allow for approximately ten years of future growth. Some very successful years or some lean years can shorten or extend the time it takes to fill the board.
We feel ten years ensures your board does not fill too quickly, but at the same time does not look empty for the next two decades. In the end, how much room to leave is of course up to you. When an update is needed, simply give us a call or shoot us an email and we send out an easy-to-apply update which applies much like a sticker. All updates are pre-spaced to ensure an easy, no-measure application.
FINDING A BOARD THAT WILL LAST
A common concern our customers have when purchasing an Add-a-Name Board is durability. This is understandable as you want to make sure your board is going to hold up for the long haul. Our boards start with vibrantly-printed graphics on high-performance vinyl which is then topped with a protective laminate. This laminate features a matte finish to reduce the glare produced by fluorescent lighting commonly found in schools and athletic facilities.
Our boards also contains a UV filter to protect against the color fade which most-often occurs in outdoor signage. Lastly we offer two different substrate options, aluminum and PVC. PVC is a great sign material for indoor applications whereas aluminum offers additional durability and won’t warp in the extreme hot and cold of the outdoors.
