The end of any calendar year is often a flurry of activity. As a company, we are trying to close out the year strong, plan around holidays, get a team back and forth from our big convention, and develop plans for the new year. In all this activity it can be hard to take a few moments and reflect on what all we accomplished this year. Below are a few highlights that we experienced as a company in 2019.
Signing day, also known as National Letter of Intent Day, is one of the most exciting moments for a student-athlete. Years of hard work lead up to this day and this is the first step in a high school athlete becoming a college student-athlete. With this exciting day, there are often many questions. Below we tried to answer the most popular questions.
Great coaching is not so much about what you know, but how much your players understand. Every coach has a plan that they want to see executed, but that plan can only be executed as well as it is understood. Great communication of your vision helps athletes see how everything comes together and understand their role in the larger objective. Being able to effectively communicate this message in the locker room is where good coaches differ from great coaches.
Social media provides a powerful opportunity to amplify your brand, promote the values of your program, and help build student and fan engagement. Every picture, post, and article are an opportunity to build pride throughout your community. Get your fans engaged in your wins and losses, successes and tragedies, and even just the ridiculous antics of your student body.
One of the most exciting moments for student athlete is receiving a verbal offer from a college or university. That commitment is then finalized with the signing of a National Letter of Intent. The signing of this document is cause for celebration because it embodies all the hard work and dedication of the young athlete and all the people that supported them such as their families and coaching staff.
