With limited time and budget, it is important that athletic directors and coaches get the most out of every purchase. As teams start to hit the weight room, make sure you are covered with a high quality strength record board. Here are three main things that every quality strength record board provider should offer.

CUSTOM DESIGN

Every athletic program is unique and your school is no exception. Don’t accept a stock strength record board design that does not take the specific needs of your program into consideration. Quality record boards should be custom designed to complement the goals you and your coaches have set for your athletes. Here are several things to consider for your custom layout:

  • Is this record board for a specific sport or for the entire athletic program?
  • Do you want keep track of boy’s and girl’s records, or just one gender?
  • What lifts, speed and agility tests would you like included in your design?
  • Do you want all-time and current records? If you want current records, then how many?
  • How would you like the board divided (by weight class, position, grade or team)?

Answers to the above questions will allow the Team Fitz design team to put together a strength record board that will fit the needs of your program exactly.

EASY TO UPDATE

What good is a record board that’s a pain to update? This is especially true of strength records which can be broken numerous times throughout a season.

We have found dry-erase record boards to be the most effective for keeping weight-room records. The main reason is that they can be updated instantly. This is convenient for the coach because they don’t have to request and then wait a week or two for a record update. Even more importantly though, it offers immediate gratification to the athlete when the record is broken. The record can be changed in the excitement of the moment adding to the achievement.

We also offer a Slide-In Record Board option if a custom dry erase board isn’t what you are looking for. Slide-in Record Boards include printed records which work great if you would prefer not writing the records yourself. The main drawback to this style, as alluded to above, is that these custom record strips will need to be produced and shipped. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but you miss out on the instant gratification of changing the record right away. This option is best suited to those who only plan on updating their records once or twice a season.

GUARANTEED QUALITY

All Team Fitz white boards use a printing process called sublimation. Sublimation permanently embeds your custom design below the surface of the board. This not only makes these dry erase boards smooth as glass, but also gives you the ability to write on every square inch. A high-gloss coating ensures your board remains bright white for the long haul without the use of special cleaners. Finally, each board is surrounded with an aluminum frame and finished with a marker tray.

All Team Fitz dry erase boards are made in the USA and carry a lifetime guarantee against ghosting, fading and defects in materials and workmanship. If you have any of these issues, we will make it right with a replacement.
